In this series of articles, we will focus on the daily lives of our unique HAA members and introduce you to their "deep-breathing lifestyle".
The fifth installment is the life of HAA marketing member Matsuura.
"I am the self-proclaimed first HAA fan," smiles Matsuura, a member who has watched over and supported HAA since the brand's early days.
Matsuura was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, where he worked for about six years as a publisher. Matsuura made a U-turn to his hometown in Nara Prefecture after changing jobs from the publishing industry, where he had worked for about six years in Tokyo. Currently, he works in sales and public relations for a company in the Kansai region and is involved in HAA's marketing.
Matsuura made a complete change from his busy life alone in the city. We spoke with her about her life now that she is back in her hometown, surrounded by family, friends, and abundant nature.
One day's schedule
Deep Breathing in Life
CHECK 1 ▶ Facing your heart, 1 hour train ride
Matsuura says he commutes by train from his home to the office, taking over an hour. Although the long trip may seem daunting, it seems to be a very meaningful time in his life, as he can turn on and off the train, and he is soothed by the scenery from the train window.
"Taking a deep breath while looking out over the fields from the train is a healing time for me and helps me switch between work mode and daily mode.
"When I was working for a publishing company in Tokyo, I was really busy. I had to take the train, but it was crowded and my mind was so occupied that I didn't have time to relax and take in the scenery. I appreciate the convenience of being able to quickly get to the office in 10 minutes, but now that I commute an hour to work, I appreciate the comfort that I can only experience in this place.
CHECK②▶Interaction with people that transcends generations
CHECK②▶Interaction with people that transcends generations
After the U-turn, spending more time with family and friends who know each other well seems to be a pleasant change.
"I talk to my grandmother every day when I get home from work. I used to only talk to her on the phone once in a while, so I am happy to be able to look her in the eye and talk to her slowly. I myself am very healed by that time."
"I am very happy to be able to spend more time with my grandmother.
"Many of my local friends have become mothers after having children, but I enjoy going out with the three of us, children included. It is very important to have old friends who have known each other for a long time, and with their children, the intergenerational exchange is very enjoyable now."
CHECK ③▶"Ha~" in the bathtub at the end of the day.
"At the end of the day, soaking in a bath is indispensable. On holidays, I sometimes go to a local hot spring. Soaking in a bath and relaxing is an important time to relieve the fatigue of the day and to energize for the next day.

HAA bath salts are often given as gifts. What are the actual occasions in which they are used?

"I gave this as a baby shower gift to a friend, and she was very pleased that HAA bath salts can be used for babies over 3 months old, so she was looking forward to taking a bath with me.
We also give them as gifts to acquaintances we haven't seen in a while and they love them. Since it does not contain sulfur, there is no worry about damaging the bathtub, and the fact that it is fragrance-free makes it easy to give.
.
"There are many things I noticed after my U-turn. The changing of the seasons as informed by food and scenery. I am grateful to be in a state where I can notice them. I would like to enjoy my life with deep breaths, chewing on these happy changes every day. >------------
